I was on Know Your Meme and I was looking at funny stuff, then I looked up Jeff the Killer and read some of the comments. Some of them said that Jeff was ruined by the fan art, cosplayers, etc.
But one thing, drawing Jeff doesn't automatically ruin him. It's when he's drawn without his shirt on or being sexy or whatever and the artist is fangirling over him. That's when it's ruined. See, for me I don't follow the creepypasta. I've read it about 5 times and I still don't care for it. I much rather prefer Sesseur's original story. And I do have fan art of Jeff in my gallery, but I've drawn him in character I guess you could say. I'm definitely NOT a fan of the pictures of Jeff that portray him as being hot or anything. Although I have seen amazing pictures of Jeff though, I'll say that. Like the more realistic kind and some of the cartoon ones.
Yes you are allowed to be a fan of a character. But you need to keep in mind how you portray the character when you draw them, because the original creator might not appreciate it.
That's my opinion though.
and 3 journal entries in the same week. wow.
